Pros
In order to satisfy the 20 word minimum I'll need to say none, none, none and none this many times.
Cons
I was unaware of Glassdoor until the obviously phony review of Nov 14th began making the rounds at Calvert. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic. Seriously...who talks like that? I've been at Calvert for well more than 10 years. New CEO as of Jan 2015, with mostly new senior management put into place as the year went on. In the course of my work, I interact with people in every department, at all levels, on a weekly if not daily basis. I can tell you flat out - pretty much everyone is miserable. More people have quit this year than the previous 10 years combined. That doesn't include the 75 or so whose positions have been eliminated. Regarding positions being eliminated, I attended two meetings with members of senior management since August in which I and others were assured "no one here is being outsourced, no one here is losing their job." A month ago I sat in another meeting in which I and many of those same other people were told our positions will be eliminated effective end of year. Co-workers I trust have related experiences in which senior management promised them raises/bonuses in exchange for additional evening/weekend work on various projects. Once those projects were completed, they were then told there would be no raises/bonuses as promised. Several then saw their positions eliminated. Senior management is immoral, dishonest and dishonorable, and is trusted by almost no one. This means that senior management itself has no trust in most employees because how can you trust people you know don't trust you? The result of this is an absolute two-level class system - there's the C-Suite and then there's everyone else. Mere employees don't matter in the least. When I started at Calvert it was the best place I'd ever worked by far. It is now the worst, also by far. The place is toxic. These last three weeks can't go by fast enough.
