Pros

The culture - Everyone earns shares in the company, so the focus is on what's best for business rather than the individual The people - Co-workers are willing to answer questions or pitch in when necessary Benefits - There are some cool benefits. You get a fitness reimbursement, 3 weeks PTO plus 12 holidays, and shares in the company just by showing up to work

Cons

The different business units don't always collaborate, which can lead to extra work and frustration. The CEO is trying to combat this, but his plans are still taking shape.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. I agree that Caltrol offers some amazing benefits. The $400 a year Fitness/Personal Growth Reimbursement is pretty generous. I'm happy that the CEO's efforts to combat the silos is recognized. Let's check back in 6 months to see if there have been any changes to this situation. Keep on doing what your doing!

On health insurance: we hear you, and we know it's a real concern for a lot of people right now. The reality is that employers across the board have faced significant premium increases at renewal, and many have passed those costs directly to employees or reduced coverage to manage them. We've worked hard to avoid that. We offer three Anthem medical plans with PPO access, paired with HSA options to help with out-of-pocket costs, and we've prioritized keeping employee contributions manageable amid the market pressure. We also offer access to free concierge care, so employees have a resource to help navigate their healthcare when they need it. We recognize the critical role that mentorship and onboarding play in setting employees up for success. We are actively investing in additional resources, more structured onboarding experiences, and meaningful mentorship opportunities to better support employees throughout their journey. Regarding compensation, we regularly review our practices to ensure alignment with market trends and internal equity, and your feedback reinforces the importance of this ongoing effort. Caltrol is dedicated to fostering a culture of open communication, and we value all feedback.
