Pros

Matched with clients, no outside marketing needed.

Cons

Low hourly wages, charge you (the clinician) if YOU need to late cancel due to an emergency or acute illness. Clunky app, poorly designed. Unreasonable metrics for therapist performance appraisals. Many referrals don’t actively engage and you don’t get paid for outreach if a client doesn’t participate that week, high client turnover.

Pros

Calmerry can connect you to clients from all sorts of backgrounds. It is a way to earn part time or supplemental income.

Cons

The pay is extremely low. They only pay $100 per month for clients who have a messaging package. If a client has video as apart of their monthly package, they only add an additional $20 per video session. The clients who have only messaging, feel as though they can continuously message you all the time despite you trying to establish boundaries. The company expects you to reply to at least two messages daily. It's a lot of expectation for uncompetitive rates.

Hello! Thanks for sharing your feedback with us! We do understand that through online platforms the payout can be less than in your offline practice, however, do keep in mind that Calmerry does all the marketing and provides you with clients that have already paid and are waiting for the sessions, unlike the fact that in the offline practice the counselor has to do their own advertising as well as look for clients themselves. We will surely take all your comments into consideration to develop a much better experience for you!
