Pros

CallFire was founded by a solid team of passionate, caring, intelligent, savvy, natural leaders who prioritized their people over everything else, leading to regular compliments from customers about their stellar customer service and their repeatedly being voted one of The Best Places to Work in LA by LA Business Journal. - Focused on growth and innovation - Smart people, fun work atmosphere, startup-style perks (e.g. dogs in the office, weekly lunches, beer in the fridge) - Santa Monica office location is 2 blocks from the beach and near the promenade - Solid health benefits, laid-back office atmosphere - Great career springboard for new, talented developers - Still a great place to work if you're in a technical department / role

Cons

- Drastic, recent changes in upper management mean there's no telling how long any of the above Pros will last - Company values seem to have taken a shift from employee development, company culture, quality customer service and innovation to aggressive sales and strategic expansion purely for financial gain (seemingly at whatever cost) - Prioritization of dev and other technical teams consistently overshadows the needs of employees in other departments (whether it's via a lack of career opportunity, a below-market salary, etc.) - Growth from within is possible, but in CSM/sales and marketing departments, this is possible only after being underpaid for your skills while you "prove" you're worth more (for free), followed by a strategic fight to actually receive the pay you've "earned" - Treating colleagues with respect and kindness is no longer prioritized over one's ability to generate profit for the company, resulting in employees being promoted to management or managers being brought into the company who are potentially talented and driven to boost company growth, but lack empathy and basic social / interpersonal skills

Pros

I honestly have to say, CallFire is one of the best companies to intern for. I've learned so much within only a few months. From time management to effective communication, this company has helped me develop real world business skills that will benefit me in the future. The management team is amazing, accessible and willing to take time with anyone eager to learn. My co-workers are extremely inclusive. They welcome different perspectives. The employees at CallFire have a wealth of knowledge and are so gracious in sharing it.

Pros

- Fellow employees are amicable - Free lunch on Tuesdays

Cons

- The Support and CSM Team are under the umbrella of 'Sales', which means that customer service is skipped over in favor of sales sales sales - Bonuses can be retracted at any point, regardless if you met goals. - HR Department is seriously lacking. Hope you never get sick. Also, don't expect much privacy if you get seriously ill or voice concerns about management/coworkers, it will most likely be used against you in any future meetings with HR. - Turnover in non-salaried positions (anything CS) is rampant. - Too much work for too little staff. There's some people that work what seems 15 hours out of 24 each day. - They expect you to work some nights and weekends in certain roles but won't tell you this until after you're hired and start working. - Almost no growth possibilities. If you want to move up in the corporate ladder or want a real raise, you have to go find a job elsewhere.
