Pros

More innovation and new products have been created in the last two years than ever before. Many businesses did not survive COVID. Calico did, and it has refocused itself for the future.

Cons

The company has had under-performers and sometimes takes too long to replace them.

Pros

I am proud to work for an organization that stands out for its forward-thinking vision and unwavering commitment to excellence. The leadership team consistently inspires us to strive for innovation and efficiency, setting clear goals that elevate the entire company. What truly sets Calico Cottage apart is its culture of continuous improvement. Whether through investing in technology or fostering professional development, the focus on growth is very evident. It’s refreshing to be part of a team that embraces challenges and actively seeks out opportunities to enhance our operations. I am excited about the future and eager to contribute to a company that is dedicated to pushing boundaries and achieving greatness.

Cons

So many irresistible fudge flavors that you won’t be able to stop indulging!

Pros

This is really difficult. Flexibility from direct leader (at times) Strong benefits package

Cons

COO is not a leader. Every decision that they make has a hidden and not so hidden agenda. He is disconnected from what is actually happening in the world, and only cares about stuffing his own pocket. He also continues to make women uncomfortable with sexual inappropriateness, and when it is called out, he promotes them. There is no room to grow. They "create" positions for people that fit their needs, but once that need is met, you watch them go. "Culture" is non existent. Bagels for birthdays, a loosely put together parking lot bbq and a Christmas party that crams everyone into the training room are not culture. Culture is about core values, open communication and being the same in public as behind closed doors. Leadership does NOT practice what they preach.
