Pros
Has a good base salary plus the chance to earn big commission checks. I have seen people get six figure pay checks. This is also a job where you do not take any work home with you. Hours are flexible where there are three starting shifts depending which one you choose. Great support from the managers, VP and SVP when you need them. Close to a lot of good eating places and I love working in the financial district. Flexible when you need to take a leave or go on medical appointments. Great Benefits 401K, medical and dental. I have learned so much about the commercial finance industry when it comes to capital asset financing. This is not an easy job, but if you work hard and focus then you can do very well here. I personally like it there and have seen positive changes come about from the last year or so that I have been there. Work hard, work smart, learn from the managers and you will make some commission checks. I have already made one within my first year. The managers are also funny guys and have a great sense of humor.
Cons
Early starting times, but you get use to it eventually and you leave much earlier than the regular 9-5 people. You are going to run into rejection, so you must have a tough stomach and mind for it....just like in any sales job.
