Still a Hardware Company - Manager CalAmp Employee Review

Still has the hardware company mentality. Does not understand or appreciate the value and difficulty with software development. Remote senior management is unaware seems to be able to both micro manage and be uncommunicative. Strong inter-location rivalries exist with back stabbing and drama beyond what should be expected in a professional company. Little or no chance for career development or advancement -- nobody gets promoted or even recognized for excellent work. Message from management is "We suck, and it's all your fault."
