Pros

I am excited everyday to work with such smart and talented team members. People are eager to share knowledge, innovate collaboratively, and make things happen. We want to work hard and have fun.

Cons

This is definitely not a con, but rather something to consider if you want to join the Cake team. Cake is made up of incredibly driven individuals. If you aren’t a doer, Cake may not be right for you.

Pros

1. Amazing coworkers. They are a group of very talented, smart and supportive people. 2. There is a lot of intention in creating a great work culture. I would say it is something that they work really hard to cultivate and constantly tend to. 3. Great benefits and pay

Cons

I think there are growing pains with any start up but sometimes it felt like the direction we were working in was unclear.

Pros

There are many reasons to work at Cake, but I'll list a few to keep it concise and to the point. 1. All employees are amazing. Everyone supports each other, no one is afraid to ask for help, and overall the people here really make it feel more like family than colleagues. 2. The environment of the space, in general, is light and friendly, something that's hard to explain but I promise is easy to understand when here in person. Whenever I'm at home I often catch myself wishing to be here at Cake, which I haven't done for any past job. 3. Cake is on the cutting edge of the insurance industry, and being able to work at a startup-like company that is always trying to implement the newest technology into their product makes it a fresh, fast-paced, and exciting place to work.

Cons

The only con I have come across is the commute. My commute is normally around an hour, with a mixture of driving and public transportation. I look at it as more of a trade-off than a con, however, since the office is in such a great spot in the heart of the city.
