Pros

- Cadmus is able to attract (but not retain) a high calibre of individuals who are passionate about education, and are often sh*t hot at what they do. There is a general sense of camaraderie among the team, who will band together and look out for one another. - The product is having a really positive outcome on authentic assessments within higher education, and clients are often interesting, intelligent and kind.

Cons

- The LT are bullies who take pride in belittling others and inflating their own sense of self-importance. Arguments (between them) can get ugly, aggressive and messy. This is not only unprofessional, but creates a really bizarre and toxic culture within the organisation. - Changing hours e.g. starting at 7am and finishing at 3pm, which was then elongated to past 5pm. - The co-founder (in the UK) seems to have 0 social or emotional intelligence, and is utterly incapable of leading, let alone motivating, nurturing and retaining a team. He will contradict himself, talk down about others, manipulate, and degrade you. - Very little work-life balance. If you don't work overtime, you are perceived as incompatible with the company "values".

Pros

Cadmus does a great job at caring about the people who work there. I always felt like my manager cared about me and wanted me to succeed.

Cons

Communication can get muddled sometimes, so it really depends on your manager.

Pros

Some good colleagues who care

Cons

Very poor leadership and management. My experience at Cadmus was extremely disappointing. The CEO’s management style felt degrading, highly micromanaging, and often unprofessional. Rather than supporting employees to succeed, I frequently felt belittled and made to feel small. Constructive feedback was lacking, and interactions often undermined confidence instead of building it. There was very little structured training or clear direction, making it difficult to understand expectations or develop in the role. Employees were often expected to work things out for themselves without adequate support. Unfortunately, the culture created by the leadership made this a stressful place to work. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend working here.
