Pros

The nature of the work is very diverse, each day brings something a little different. It's a very collaborative environment that builds strong team relationships through cross-functional tasks.

Cons

It can be quite the chaotic workplace at times, especially when trying to coordinate between the multiple different facilities throughout the country.

Appreciate this — especially from someone who’s been in the trenches with us for so long. That ability to crank out top-tier work fast has always been one of our strengths, and sometimes comes at the expense of downtime. Honestly, feedback like this pushed us to take a hard look at how we were pacing things. We’ve made changes to our PTO approach and how we manage recovery after big pushes. Still a work in progress, but we’re listening and adjusting. Thanks for being part of what makes Cadence what it is.

We appreciate all feedback, as every experience offers an opportunity to reflect on the culture we’re building at Cadence. To be clear, working here means operating in a fast-paced, client-driven industry. Our projects span major sporting events, entertainment, and corporate activations where timelines are fixed, expectations are high, changes are expected, and flexibility is essential. We’re always upfront about the time commitment required — especially during touring or large-scale events — and we take pride in meeting deadlines others might consider impossible. These timelines aren’t something we set; they’re defined by the nature of the work. When the doors open, there’s no such thing as “not ready.” To balance this, we offer some of the most generous time-off policies in the industry and support downtime wherever possible. This environment — and the lifestyle that comes with it — isn’t for everyone, and that’s okay. But for those who thrive here, the work is challenging, meaningful, and unforgettable.
