TERRIBLE Work Place Environment - Analyst CV-Advisors Employee Review

Pros

The staff is very tight knit and don’t have to deal with the craziness when WFH. That’s why it’s funny that all the reviews (suspicious on the timing much) that are positive are fake because the one partner went ballistic (as usual) and flipped out and made everyone post positive reviews after several employees were honest. Read how condescending the “HR” response is to the negative reviews.

Cons

Where to start. Most hostile work place environment I’ve ever seen. Two of the partners make you feel terrible about yourself, one yells constantly at everyone. The morale is almost at a constant low. Their “surveys” do not help anyone who works there. Their Pay is way below industry average. They have been know to terminate people on a whim, (crazy reasons that I won’t go into). If you went to HR, they would tell the partners and well...that’s counterintuitive. Investment Strategy is meh at best.

Pros

Great work life balance where overtime is recognized and rewarded. Everyone eats lunch together in the kitchen area. Great pay and benefits (paid employee health benefits, good PTO policies etc), The people are really friendly.

Cons

Room to improve since it started as a small firm and has grown rapidly.

Pros

None. This was by far the worst job I’ve ever had in my life.

Cons

The core problem at this company is the CEO. His behavior sets a tone that is chaotic, unpredictable, and consistently unprofessional. Communication often comes in the form of public criticism, sarcasm, or outbursts, creating a work atmosphere filled with tension and fear rather than productivity. There is no trust in the people hired, leading to constant pressure, burnout, and a revolving door of employees who simply cannot function in this environment. It’s not surprising that so many staff members describe the workplace as “toxic”. No amount of talent or hard work can overcome the instability created at the top. The dysfunction is not a misunderstanding it is embedded in the leadership style.
