Pros

You can surf the internet and watch YouTube all day with reckless abandon and no one will care. Keurig K-Cup Maker (but no k-cups provided)

Cons

Work environment is depressing (building as well as team attitude). Only windows in the building are reserved for managers. Leaders can't seem to realize that their employees are not happy overall, and cater to the one with the loudest voice, while everyone else is ignored. Cheap refurbishment - just a coat of paint. Office in desperate need of a cleaning that goes beyond taking out the trash, which is all that's done now. Carpets belonged in a landfill 20 years ago. Cheap environment - no budget for employee training- instead, employees provide training to each other. Outdated, stripey monitors and refusal to purchase new ones. Chastised for taking smoke breaks. Healthcare plan has an extremely high deductible and even after you satisfy it, the co-insurance is only 70%. No opportunities for career advancement. Have I said cheap?

Pros

small environment if you like to read we read in spare time which is mandatory vending machines not located downtown so parking is great couple of good people

Cons

about 99% of offices with windows are lacking digital era capabilities and running around to help other departments making up their own work for themselves. one has an impressive vocabulary though but that's about all. hmmm yeah listing bug tracking software as a pro is awfully strange since the majority of companies have these. also don't let this fool you as if it's not used properly by all departments it's kind of useless. if you get to be one of the souls that get to travel there are no travel work perks whatsoever spending hours meeting to discuss a book means work when you can to get your stuff done inconsiderate people leave garbage in lunch room on tables and don't clean up after selves and they aren't required to so maybe this is a pro meetings are argumentative rarely productive this is the heads down work kind of environment, any time someone is discussing at a desk it's usually about religion and politics or plenty of other non work appropriate topics
