Pros

I have been working at Coalition Technologies for nearly 3 years now. Firstly, if you want to work for a company where you can watch YouTube videos all day, remain stagnant in your career development and are happy to coast through the day not learning anything, then Coalition Technologies is not the place for you. If, however, you want to work in a fast paced environment, where no 2 days are the same, work with a great team and keep up-to-date with the latest marketing trends - then you will enjoy working here. The company is quickly expanding and with a policy of promoting within, there is opportunity for career advancement. Every employee is provided a career development plan with clear goals that they need to hit to receive increases in salary. If you put in the effort, you can advance quickly. I should know - I have received 4 salary increases and have been promoted to management within the 3 years I have been with the company. Also, the company provides profit share each month, where up to 50% of the company profits are shared with employees. Having been at the company for a while now, these payments can be quite generous. Retaining clients is extremely important to the company - without client retention, how can a company grow? Having read some of the reviews here that say there is micromanagement - I tend to disagree. As management, it's our job to ensure that our team members are performing high-quality work. The company focus is on providing consistent training for our team. Reviewing my teams work and providing training though screen share is vital to ensure that we are doing the best work we can for our clients. I have a great team and we all want to get the best results that we can. The company has great benefits as well - health, dental & life insurance, a fully stocked kitchen, team lunch on Fridays, profit share and gym reimbursement.

Cons

Working in digital marketing, the amount of work you can do on a clients campaign is infinite, and I have found that there are some days where I need to work a little more than I usually would to complete tasks. The company has created tools that help us manage our work flow and time management that have definitely helped with this.

Thanks for the positive, objective feedback. I'd double down on your comments about CT and its work place- We are growing both in client size and team size, and that means two things; lots of work for everyone, and lots of opportunity for advancement. We stress that we are looking for hard working, self-starters who are capable of managing their time and priorities effectively. We do have tools in place to provide a framework to identify priorities, identify mistakes, and ensure our clients are getting the full benefit of every dollar they're paying us. To some that reads micromanagement but that's usually people who are looking to work as being an extension of their personal time, and that often leads to the negative reviews we've had here. I believe that work is for work- if you want to spend the majority of your day on entertainment sites, Youtube, personal chat, or other activities unrelated to the work our clients are paying us for and we are in turn paying you for, don't apply. If you're excited about digital, whether web design or development or SEO or marketing, want to learn more about disparate industries, grow in your experience and professional expertise, can handle a full work day (shocking right) on task, then please do apply here! We have great benefits and a huge commitment to seeing our team members grow with us.

Pros

- Good pay - Team is great - Excellent organization

Cons

- Time tracking software is very invasive (screenshots every 5 to 10 min, mouse and keyboard tracking, camera must always be on while on work hours) - KPIs can be too demanding - Workload can be too heavy (I was managing around 15 accounts at one point)
