Pros
cultural diversity, and you get to know some people around the world.
Cons
NO one is there to listen to your ideas or problems you see at work. Even if you did say anything, they are unlikely to appreciate what you do/say unless you are in certain ethnic group. Zero communication at work, basically mind your own business and stay quiet. If you say anything against their ruling styles you are likely to be kicked out for that reason. Meaningless meetings which always talking about the problem/event and not about solution. Upper management always get mad at how things are not done in the first place, while lower ranking management staffs stay quiet and try to hold their position. In other words, if you want to stay longer in there, just talk about all the things they want to hear to please them and don't talk about too much of the solutions, because they are gonna make u do it and kick you out. Because some of them hate people to be smarter than they are and that is a big problem. Always playing the blame game and then at times employees are to be written up for things which are off management's fault. Company Politics is so heavy and they always want to take control over the situation, which ends up putting more pressure onto their employees and force good people quit.(a lot of people stayed because they have no good skills and/or wants a check rather than self-improvement) Their main focus is always on cutting costs, from some materials to employment, it might seem you get in a position which pays around 12 an hour, but after training, this is where the disappointment comes and they will try to do whatever they can to get their costs down. There is a lot to change and it cannot be done with the current set up and the management style. People need to learn on how to run a business properly and stop bring the bad behaviors of how sweat shop works from Asian countries.
