Pros
Co-workers can be helpful depending on the department you work in. Some departments however can be very political. I was fortunate to work in a very supportive department for 90% of my career at CTS, unfortunately my new boss is narcissist and a fraud. lucky for me Ill be out soon.
Cons
If you're not lucky you could end up working for one of the few inept Managers at CTS, but even you don't you will still be forced to deal with all the drama and chaos they kick up to defect from their own gross incompetence. My manager often speaks without thought or actual knowledge of the topic. He speaks with or without valuable input it doesn't matter because if it blows up and it will, this will cause a problem not for him but you if you end up working for him.
