DON'T WORK FOR THEM!!!! - Senior Claims Adjuster CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer Employee Review

Pros

NONE!!!! Their training program consisted of having us watch videos on our own more than actually going through the company system software and rules. Made me leave my career opportunity on the empty promise that it would be a better fit for me with their company. Worst mistake of my life, and I've made plenty.....

Cons

I got brought in after my lunch hour in my fifth week telling me I was fired because the second week in we got a bunch of claims to review on our own and their tracking system didn't see that I logged into those claims. I explained to the manager it probably had to do with the issues with the VPN and internet connection issues. Two weeks later we are working on claims for the 5th day in a row, I'm receiving nothing but positive feedback and then they bring me in and tell I violated the ethics policy by not reviewing those claims. Wouldn't even believe my side. Wouldn't give me a warning or even a write-up. Just simply in disbelief that a company would fire you for something so minor that was out of the employee's control.

Pros

I am grateful for the resources and vendor relationships that Mobilitas provides. They help me work faster and more efficiently as a Commercial Casualty Adjuster. I also appreciate that the company supports the use of AI, which helps make our work easier and more efficient.

Cons

Opportunities for advancement have become more limited over the past year. It feels like there is not a clear or effective path to move into leadership. The current leadership programs do not feel very helpful or are not geared toward claims roles. It can also feel like staying in the same position for a long time before being seriously considered for promotion.
