Pros

Better than panhandling but not by much.

Cons

Try calling in to HR. 30 min wait and you'll not be paid for your time waiting. Not being paid for time is a common occurrence with Crossmark. After spending 30 mins on the line waiting to speak with HR I was told that I would have to contact payroll for my issue. I asked for a direct line to payroll. Guess what? There is none and that we have to contact only via email. I explained that every email I've sent was sent back saying I was blocked. She seemed to not care. Surprise. If you get sick and are unable to access your timesheet before the cut off you are not paid. The entire system is flawed. You are asked to enter your time on a timesheet, but you're not paid for the time that you spend entering your time. You are not paid for reading tickets before going to a job. You are not paid for a lot of your time. The company sends you a ton of stuff and expects you to store it at your house. I am not paid for storing this crap. Why should I have to take up an entire room? This company does not care about you as a person. They see you as a cog in the machine. Go work fast food or delivery or anything. Just don't do this.

Pros

The pay was good compared to other merchandising companies. The person I worked for was a good boss and when I did work with others maybe 2-3 times a year, it was usually pleasant enough for work.

Cons

Working with the stores can be awful. The places you work out rarely view you as more than a pest even though you're there to help them.

Pros

No pros working at crossmark

Cons

an honest example of your day, we will pay you for 15 minutes to run up to a Walmart. For that 15 minutes we will expect you to read instructions for any new changes, run in and check in with a manager, find our product, count our products exactly, go to the back room and find our products (which is by far the longest step), count our products in the back exactly, bring our products to the front of the store, take pictures and answer questions, remove all old products, stock by date, take pictures and answer questions. If this takes you 25-30 minutes, which is probably a more accurate accounting, we will still only pay you for 15. If you are lucky there may be another job that day, but if not you will be expected to waste your gas, drive to the Walmart that we demanded, and work that 15 minute job alone. In that case we will be demanding that you take an hour out of your day for $3.00.
