The CEO rules the organisation like it is still the 1980's. They use a punitive management style where staff members fear to voice their ideas or give feedback. The CEO uses blaming tactics to try and cover her own bad decisions. CREATE has gone from leading the industry in child participation when they first started, to currently having tokenistic participation systems which don't give young people opportunities for genuine co-design. Executive leadership are just worried about keeping their cushy salaries by pushing staff to unethical practices to reach program KPI's but wont actually listen to how things could be improved.
