Pros

Easy comfortable job. Good work life balance. Hard to get fired.

Cons

Management is nowhere near on site as lower level employees--some of them to the point you're surprised to see them. Only lower level employees will really be there on holidays. Only higher level employees get to remote in to get around low amount of PTO hours offered. Nepotism runs rampant. If you're in with management expect to be able to get away with a lot. Other employees' hard work will not be a factor. Company would prefer to expand everyone else's responsibilities to make up for vacancies in positions. There is no established promotion program/requirements and titles for some positions. The company makes them up on the fly.

CPT Group Response
5y
I believe employees of CPT have seen many changes since this review was written. In response to COVID-19 regulations, most employees are on a two week rotation schedule, working between home and the office. However, management is present in the office regularly. We have provided several ways for employees to voice concerns and provide feedback to our management so that we can make improvements as needed. Our employee turnover percentage is less than 2.0% this year (no one has been laid off due to Covid business downturns) and our 5 - 9 year employee tenure percentage is over 20%.

Pros

I’ve been with CPT for about eight years, and it’s been a genuinely positive experience. From the top down, leadership has always stayed committed to creating an environment where everyone—no matter their role—feels valued and on the same level. There’s an unspoken open-door policy that encourages collaboration and sharing ideas. Sure, CPT does all the fun things—company events, free snacks, birthday gift cards—but what really sets it apart is the people. It’s a company led by good people who’ve hired more good people, making it a really great place to work.

Cons

The work can be challenging, everything revolves around court deadlines. If you’re not comfortable working under tight timelines, this might not be the place for you.
