Pros

Arnie & Sherri Friedman have a lot to proud of. They have grown an amazing, successful IT company. I would recommend anyone to work there, as well as any company to use them for their IT needs. CPI has very bright, talented staff. Everyone has the opportunity to make a difference in the company, which comes from leadership that wants you to succeed in your career and is looking for long term commitment. I was an employee for them for almost 10 years and it was a great experience. They really take care of their employees. You aren't just an employee working there; you are family. I have no doubt in my mind that the company will continue to succeed providing excellent service, and great place for talented people to work that they can call home.

Cons

If you are someone who needs to be micro-managed constantly it might be a con for you as everyone is working hard to be the most efficient with their time. To me this isn't a con, I enjoy some independence, but could be for someone.

Great mid sized MSP with excellent work-life balance. Felt like family.

Cons

Sold to Meriplex Solutions based in Texas. A company hellbent on gobbling up small-to-midsized MSP’s with a goal of becoming the largest MSP the country.

Pros

CPI is a great place to pick up experience with new technologies and grow professionally. They will train you and pay for various certifications. It's also a great place to meet other like-minded developers with enthusiasm and passion for what they do.

Cons

The CEO is too focused on making money. One bad project is enough to get you canned here, even if you had no part in the project and you are making all your goals on projects you are responsible for. The development department is looked down upon because they are less profitable than other departments. The only people really giving the good reviews for this company are the execs, VP's and the guys that were told to give a good rating to improve the company image. Clients are billed higher than they should be. The business model is flawed because the focus is only on billable hours, which is not in the best interest of the clients and this has been voiced by clients but not addressed. They also lay people off, justifying it with the need to make cutbacks then they rehire new developers in their place.
