Pros

Supporting participants to improve quality of life is empowering. Strong push for disability rights.

Cons

High workloads, particularly observable for managers who are struggling with too many responsibilities. Stress and burnout was being felt throughout the team. High billable hours commitments that are not industry standard. This isn't rewarded by higher pay, it is actually less than other competitors. Understaffed and accepting too many referrals that couldn't be managed. With staff turnovers, needing to cover these clients and more referrals needing to be allocated, and no new staff coming in - it was really difficult. We were told new staff were coming for months on end - I never saw them before I left.

- Management focus on self promotion - Doesn't deliver on promises re staff development - Frequent changes of systems feels like change's sake rather than focused continuous improvement

Pros

Supervision at CPBS is next level. What they tell you when you're applying is what you actually get. The team in Adelaide are incredible. All genuine, warm, and intelligent people who are ready to help or debrief ANY time.

The systems are a little clunky.
