      Pros

      Great brand, nice people, and a cool office building.

      Cons

      Web 1.0, the usual term used to describe CNET by outsiders, is actually generous. This is Web 0.5. Engineering is a disaster, the well-staffed marketing department has no idea what they are trying to accomplish, and senior management falls back on MBA buzzwords rather than coming up with actual ideas that would vault the company ahead of its competition.

      Pros

      - The people at CNET are some of the kindest and smartest I've ever worked with - Opportunity to grow/carve your own career path, as long as you're willing to put in the work - Team members at all levels are encouraged to have a voice and contribute to the bigger picture

      Cons

      - Change is constant and can get exhausting - Can be disorganized/all over the place (but I will say has made strides in this area over the years) - Significant workload, especially during certain times of year (September around Apple Announcement, Holiday/Q4) - if you don't like jobs that keep you busy then this is probably not the company for you
