Pros

Many good people are working here - the biggest advantage and probably the only one.

Cons

Avoid this company if you don't want burnout! you will always be not good enough even if you go above and beyond! this company doesn't value the employees - the philosophy is simple: you're easily replaceable and once you start being not convenient for management - you get constant ignorance and are neglected. You MUST overtime (for free!!) to be able to catch up with bunch of tasks that are flowing every day more and more and this is taken for granted. During the hiring process make sure to discuss your scope of responsibilities in details - because when you start working it turns out in much more tasks that were "hidden" from the initial list. HR and management is not interested to resolve the issues that team raises - always understaffed but still must deliver the results somehow. The volume of tasks is split not equally among the team.... better go and find another company which at least respects you as person.

Pros

CKH Group has come a long way in a short period of time. Within the five years I've been here, there have been major changes, and all, largely, for the better. Their client base has grown, their teams have grown, and the culture has really developed into one that I can see myself working in for many years to come. As a whole, the company really emphasizes the growth of their employees and offers tons of opportunities to step up to the plate. The company also actively welcomes ideas for improvement- my boss especially wants me to voice challenges or hardships as an opportunity to solve a pain point. It is also a really unique work environment in that you get to work with a hugely diverse group of people from all over the world. In addition, I know that individuals can shift from team to team or department to department if they want to explore other areas of accounting/tax/audit.

Cons

Work-life balance can be a bit of a challenge for certain departments. I personally do not have much difficulty (mostly because of my department), but I know from experience that the projects and clients can be quite challenging and demanding at times. Depending on your department and manager, you might find yourself quickly drowning in work if you don't have the appetite to get your hands dirty. However, there is opportunities for individuals to shift from project or team. Benefits and compensation I would say are pretty average, maybe below average in some locations, but the company does reward based on performance - hard work does not go undervalued. Lastly, because you have teams from all over the world, and a company that has undergone change in the past several years, there can be some breakdowns in communication, policies, or management discrepancies. But again - I've seen these things improve over the years and expect them to further iron out as the company grows even further.
