Pros

A quick shoutout to my company of over ten years. They have never short-changed my development. I have been flown to seminars, trainings, sent out to learn with other companies such as Toyota, sent out to assist others such as Kevin Charles, and enjoyed many recognitions in front of my peers. I have also enjoyed opportunities to see my favorite sports teams Heat, Dolphins and Panthers play in the comfort of our amazing suites. City Furniture is second to none!

Cons

There is no such thing as a perfect anything. One thing is certain in City Furniture we are always improving, your efforts will be recognized and we have a process like the Individual Development Program which allows you to steer your career.

Pros

2020 and maybe 21,22 were good after it all went down hill (thanks to AH )

Cons

Everyone is related , friends , family etc. HR is all friends with eveyone there for you cannot be taken serious . So many talented associates leave because they are forced out due to personal preference. Turn over company wide they say is low. However the location I worked in 80 precent of people were 6 month or under ! Yikes !!! Management does not know how to keep and lead their team , instead they micro manage , make up new rules that they do not follow after a few weeks and they always seem stressed. Oh and bonus program is constantly restructured . They present it as new opportunities however it’s really for them to pay less. This company always pays very low percentage and you have to jump through hoops that are on fire to make a bonus. And I wasn’t some employee who worked 6 months and quit. I was someone making 90k yearly for several years. This is just a reality. Higher management needs traning asap. And insurance gets worse every year !
