Enjoyed my role here, but there is substantial room for improvement among senior level employees. - Anonymous employee CIDC Employee Review

Pros

Fun industry, great benefits, overall great group of employees. I've grown in my career at CIDC and generally enjoyed my job.

Cons

Senior management has a ways to go to boost morale within the organization and get the job done. There are a lot of resignations due to frustration with senior management and the inability to move to the next level within the company.

Pros

Some people describe CIDC as a 10 year-old start-up. What they mean is that CIDC needs to behave like a start-up and get back into business growth mode. Be company-wide focused with flexibility, adaptability, and innovation. But CIDC is10 years old, with a talented workforce, a depth of domain expertise, an enterprise approach to their online gaming platform and services, and a healthy respect for their players. It is this combination that makes CIDC a challenging, and also great, place to work.

Cons

The executive management and corporate ownership changes of the recent years have had their toll on the company's morale, its ability to maintain focus, its ability execute. CIDC is not for the faint of heart. In October of 2011 CIDC became a stand-alone company again, with a new CEO (a 10 year CIDC veteran) and a charter to runs its own business. Early results indicate the previous downsides are being eliminated.
