      The company has a flat-hierarchy management style, which enables employees to have a lot of impact and visibility within their squads decision making.

      Cons

      Self management means heavy meeting overhead, not easy to get actual coding done. In addition, tooling issues and restrictive security policies make day to day work more difficult.

      Pros

      CID was a fantastic place to learn about the world of international governance work. Everybody there was extremely open to sharing their experiences and expertise.

      Cons

      The work comes in waves depending on what contracts are opened at the time. It is often very slow.
