      Pros

      I've been here for 2 years, was hired from a contract position, and was able to negotiate my pay rate. I've had the best Boss I've ever had, the most benefits I've ever had, and I've met some very genuinely nice people.

      Cons

      There was no training or standard operating procedures so I had to learn by making mistakes, which also caused problems with people who didnt understand the learning process.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
