      Very LBGTQ friendly, progressive culture, very pro-union, slowly weeding out the neandrathals. Industry average wages and benefits.

      Cons

      Antiquated management philosophy, limited advancement opportunities, poorly trained management, very slow hiring process, moderately high turnover. HR behind the times.

      Pros

      Clean refinery, good enough compensation

      Cons

      Folks in mid to high-level management manage, but do not lead. Refinery management actively strays from big-company principles for what is apparently a desire for control over local employees. Capital costs are high but management will fight tooth and nail to save a dime on labor.
