System Directors and higher level management are micro managers and perfectionists. There is high turnover in the corporate office and the human resources department has too much authority in my opinion. PTO must be used for designated corporate holidays in which the corporate office is closed and there is no flexibility in this policy even though the corporate is closed more than the standard holidays. In addition, System Directors are given extreme liberty in interpreting CHRISTUS policies and there are very diverse interpretations between System Directors in the interpretation of the policies. Working from home is not allowed even though several competing healthcare companies in the DFW area have this policy.
