      Strong on the intake, not so strong on the retain - Devops Engineer CHEQ Employee Review

      Pros

      Very strong HR, fun working environment, really truly great people. Management style is soft-touch.

      Cons

      It has been 2 months from yearly review, well more than a year since I started, and no "Salary conversation" in sight. No one even talks about it, or mentions anything. Management talks about the great financial status of the company, but we see a definite drop in investment in "all the other stuff". We've got our "travel compensation" slashed from 500 to 300, at least 3 people I know of got fired with a day's notice, and didn't even say goodbye, just vanished one day. A team lead got demoted.

      Pros

      Winds of change recently.... but I honestly think that can be a good thing and can present a lot of opportunities... (although it can make people nervous) - to me it feels good and exciting! Its good to be part of something that isn't afraid to do things differently

      change is change! (Not a con, just a fact)
