Pros
I have 27 days off per year (PTO / Sick / Holidays). I am very close to work. I have a decent work life balance due to my position and my immediate boss.
Cons
Pay raises and bonuses are constantly non existent even though I am available 24/7 365 to answer my phone and even come in when there is an issue. There is always an excuse as to why the workers don't get raises. . salary employees (exempt) are expected to work 50 to 60 hours a week because they are salary. My contract and there states we are getting paid a salary for 40 hours a week.. but it has been said multiple times 50 to 60 is what is expected.
