Pros
CERN is a multidisciplinary and exciting place to work at. If you happened to be designing something ( a system, a component for you system for example), you will have a lot of experts in different departments/ sections who can help with. At the end of the day, you will learn so much from them and also achieve things you wouldn't have done on your own. What I like about it most is that in my department (Beams), whoever I work with is very friendly and there was no hierarchical culture that you have to address your boss as doctor or that kind of thing. pretty good holiday system
Cons
Good training system. Can do language courses (FR or EN) , technical trainings, programming ....etc as long as your supervisor approves and doesn't affect your workload too much. Good holiday scheme
