Cern - The European Organization for Nuclear Research is a European research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. It’s an amazing place to work. People from all over the world come to work here. It’s located in Geneva area on the border between Switzerland and France. The two CERN sites, Prévessin and Meyrin have the Jura Mountains on one side and Geneva and the Alps in the other direction. (You can see Mont Blanc in the horizon). A tram line connects the Meyrin side (the main site) to Geneva. It takes about 20-25 min to get from Geneva to CERN. The official languages are English and French.
Cons
I can not think of any negative things about working at CERN. Some of the older buildings are barracks and doesn't look very nice, but they are constantly renovating and improving all the buildings on the site.

Pros
The employment process is very smooth and supportive. The technical team interviewed me for technical skills, and the HR is very supportive and helpful. Especially I haven't been employed by CERN previously, so I have a lot of questions. The employment team is very helpful and answered all my questions patiently. Also I like the job and my work very much.
Cons
Maybe the primary communication method could be email instead of phone calls? I sometimes miss phone calls, but will check every email.
