Pros

Pay was market-rate. Flexible PTO, and accomodating schedule.

Cons

I worked here for a few years, and it was long enough to see my department turn-over twice. Other departments had faster turnover rates. Management layer chases large institutional customers with too-few resources, ignores information that conflicts with their flawed model of reality, and is in a perpetual state of changing process and staff in an effort to remedy the consequences. Very much a "ready, fire, aim" culture. They will likely offer stock options, but the stock is illiquid and I watched a few people get burned by dillutions when the company took VC. Double-standards WRT workplace relationships, romantic and otherwise. Many new hires (and a few terminations and resignations) were based on social ties rather than competancy.

Cons

Not for you if you require a lot of structure, routine, or existing SOP resources [to date] to guide you through the work. Requires a lot of documentation as we work. No hoodies (to date)

Pros

Startup, easy to get to know every coworker

Cons

CEO cares more about eating lunch for over an hour than their employees. A lot of bugs with their software and wasn't really trying to fix them. A lot of downtime
