Pros
CDC Foundation contracted multiple workers to staff up state and local efforts to combat COVID-19, and it was a great way to quickly hire and cut through red tape to get programs up and running. The company did a great job of providing the hiring and HR support structure with minimal extra requirements of workers so they could focus on the demands of their contracting organization
Cons
The salary offered to people during this program was subject to approval by the contracting organization, so the salary I received was not as competitive as it could have been for my experience, education and responsibilities of the job.
