Pros

There is often left over food from sponsor visits they let the employees pick over for free. There are occasionally company picnics during the work day with free food and drinks.

Cons

Literally anything, and almost everything you are told at this company is likely a lie. They make promises they intend to not keep and lie straight to your face. They often make other people do their dirty business, which makes you hate everyone involved. The favoritism at this company is gross. People on the management side often don't want to associate with the lowly people of the lab. There are so many cliques whispering rumors and talking badly about people all over the place. If you're not liked and brought in to a clique, you'll be cast to the side, given no work, and treated like garbage until you can't take it anymore and just quit. My recommendation is to avoid this company at all costs.

Pros

-There are many people who are willing to train you in anything you need/want -Coworkers are generally some of the nicest and smartest people -The animals are well taken care of. Techs all show that they care about animal welfare. -Knowlegeable study directors

Cons

-MANAGEMENT. Management cares little for the mental health of their employees, the main focus for the CEO and VP is profits. -There is clear favoritism of people. For the vet staff manager, depending on their mood minor errors are brushed off or turned into a whole issue. -You will more than likely have more pizza parties than actual raises -Clique environment -Supervisors expect perfection from their techs. If/when you mess up, depending on how much you are liked the reprimand may not actually be proportional to the error. -They like to say they try to hire from within the company first when filling positions, but it seems they prefer hiring outside people instead.
