Pros

Employees are kind, collaborative, and supportive of one another. Company was founded and led by seasoned tech veterans with a track record of building successful products. Agile culture that enables the team to move quickly and deliver results — a refreshing contrast to traditional auto industry timelines. Cloud-first company from the start, consistently delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Cons

Leadership often takes a back seat instead of providing clear direction, leaving teams without strong guidance. Frequent leadership changes from the German parent company disrupted priorities and reduced the effectiveness of the U.S. office. Mid-level management lacked experience and decision-making ability, which created inefficiencies and frustration for teams. The U.S. office was treated as expendable, with three rounds of layoffs in less than two years. Uncertainty around strategic direction, especially with the Rivian joint venture, leaves little confidence in the company’s long-term future.
