I worked at CARE as part of the Ukrainian Response Program. The work itself sounds great and the international staff are helpful, competent, and empathic.
Cons
CARE has incredibly corrupt local partners in the countries where they implement Care for Ukraine. The program objective is meaningless to their partners and the money is wasted by local organizations that do not #CARE about the mission and values of their donor. The activities are conducted only on paper and most of the money go to directors or friends of their directors.
