Pros

- Work/Life balance - Very prestigeous in the region - Rapidly growing in size and relevance - Great place to gain an understanding of Latin America - Salary is slightly above average for region. Benefits are amazing - Great way of breaking into regional politics - Company is going through a change management exercise to try to raise its game level

Cons

- Not a meritocracy. Extremely political management style - Few opportunities for promotion - Low lying glass ceiling. All upper managers are selected for external or internal political motives - HR has a reputation of disregarding employee contracts and making false promises (get everything in writing) - No trainning - No empowerment - Company loves yes men. Criticism is highly frowned upon - Headquarters is in Caracas. If you are relevant, you will sooner or later have to spend some time living in such a dangerous and disagreable city

Pros

Above average payment for a latinamerican organization. Tax exemption for all employees inside stock holders countries. But considering high cost of life in most latinamerican countries and lack of living opportunities, it is not a good living enviroment in the long run.

Cons

Politics and nepotism everywhere. Obsolete management. Professional betrayal (good plans and ideas are taken but not rewarded). Highly skilled professionals treated as low-level worker if not in the political loop.
