Half of the office does ground up building for developers and the other half mostly does interior renovation jobs. The partners are very experienced architects and know how to build buildings and comply with all NYC codes. It's a hard industry and they do their best.
Cons
The projects are repetitive especially on the interiors side. I would recommend knowing Autocad and drafting going in. Try to ask a lot of questions if you can but most of the learning that happens will come from your own hard work. Look at the building codes early. This will help you learn more. What the office lack in design focus it makes up for in other areas.
