      Pros

      The benefits were pretty good for engineering field. Not the best, but mid range. There were a lot of variety of project types. Nice location in downtown Lansing.

      Cons

      Never any bonuses. Different departments had extremely different experiences. Without a good manager, it was a poor experience. Lots of overhead costs. Lots of managers, and managers of managers, and HR, and secretaries, etc... It drove the total fee for a project up too high, and it was hard to remain competitive in the design fees.

      C2AE is a slow and steady firm, which can inhibit innovation and quick change.

      Pros

      Worked with a handful of people that made the job worth coming to everyday.

      Cons

      Cheap towards employees, if you need something practically had to beg for it or use old equipment. Poor pay and bonuses. Was always promised advancement and once a fresh college kid got hired, I was told they wanted something with a degree instead of years of experience.
