Flexible work schedule/can work remotely Family-oriented Good people, at their core Employees work hard for the company

Lack of follow-through with manager/supervisor promises Lack of transparency with strategic goals and vision of the company Non-competitive pay Little room for growth (unless they win a contract and you qualify for the contracted position) Lack of clarity/direction on management hierarchy (chain of command, who to go to when have particular issues not pertaining to project/contract specific tasks) Lack of follow up/slow response time from management if the issue is not project/contract specific More emphasis on keeping the customer happy, versus working and building employees No sense of job security Transparency on how the business is actually running (number of new contracts won, new opportunities, etc.) NO INTERNET - get Fios or something more dependable
