Pros
You'll work a lot and gain extensive cross-functional experience. If you are on the Austin SMB team, you'll have numerous oppurtunities to work closely with leadership in SMB. At its best, TikTok is wonderful to work at, and at its worst, you'll cry most days
Cons
Management has gotten more disconnected, make sure to track everything and note all when dealing with bad managers. Review system seems to vary drastically depending on what team you're on (SMB or KA are the big ones). Lots of churn happened because of lack of transparency and continued disconnect with new hires. Felt like there was more focus on hiring from places like Meta or Amazon than hiring internally.
