Cons
Poor entry level pay but spend a fortune on vanity projects and departments who are trying to justify their jobs. You get whiplash from senior management... one minute abrupt and critical...stand up to them and you get weeks of grovelling but then they move on to treating other GMs as badly. Always needs a puppy to kick. Most managers talk of currently looking for jobs elsewhere, some of my co workers have left to work in lower level jobs that pay much less. These are talented guys with decades of service! No one really listens...they ask for an opinion but carefully select the ones they like. We are all dispensable.. length of service is meaningless. Managers with many years of service go on sudden leave then "disappear". They even have a template announcement for their departure.
