Pros
Good benefits, good people, always busy, free turkey, nationally recognized brand, emphasis on safety
Cons
People work in silos (multiple departments may be working on the same - or similar - project, but never share information or talk until they have a deliverable... meaning multiple versions of "the wheel" with no collaboration, redundancies, and wasted time), things out of our control have a large impact on the company (corn/grain costs, gas/diesel costs, etc.), always under attack by activist groups (a few bad apples spoil our reputation, even though we work very hard to do business right and do right by our birds), fully integrated business makes communications difficult (guys on the farm with no access to a computer, multiple spoken languages in the processing plants, managers that don't read email, and leadership that doesn't emphasize communication to the hourly associates).
