I was told I was doing a great job up until the day they fired me. Direct supervision is aloof and inattentive, then blames all faults on you. In retrospect they are also unbelievably cruel and only seek to position themselves positively. Direct management also has a shocking lack of technical skills or computer knowledge, and relies on others entirely to do even the most basic technology related tasks. In addition, the scope of the job’s responsibilities was far beyond what was indicated during the interview process. In my last position before this at a different school, 6 people were doing the tasks concentrated into this one position.
