      Pros

      - Some of the people are good, normal people - Pay can be good

      Cons

      - Toxic culture: unrealistic expectations on employees with senior leadership team acting like teachers, with employees treated like kids - Chegg: since Chegg are the ultimate owners, they dictate everything that goes on - pushing random strategies and KPIs with little or no thinking. Treat Busuu employees like trash - All work, no culture of fun - no one has time to even have a normal convo because everyone is so busy working on non value-add work - Pedantic feedback from senior leaders - who don't want to bother doing any of the work themselves, but only pass down instructions (not well thought through)

      Pros

      - The new management is very nice and understanding. - I've noticed that even when I provide all the necessary information when canceling a lesson, they still have to repeat steps, likely due to company policy. - The only reason I stay is because I absolutely love my students. - It can be challenging to find a job without a degree in the TEFL industry

      Cons

      -Asked for a raise, completely ignored me. -Very difficult to cancel lessons. -Don't know how well you're doing as a teacher so you're in constant "competition" with other teachers to keep your position. -I've heard that they can fire you without any notice or reason. -Changed policy that you can only do 25 hours per week
