Was very disappointed and embarrassed that I recently referred a new hire applicant for an open position and the recruiter wasted the applicant's time by meeting with them for five minutes or so - long enough to say they didn't have the right experience. It wasted everyone's time and also didn't make any sense - why didn't the recruiter review the resume ahead of time to avoid this issue? Furthermore, the applicant met and in many cases exceeded the job requirements, so not sure what the issue was. I checked with other colleagues who apparently have had similar issues with this recruiter and even said that the recruiter has been rude to their candidates. Not sure why this sort of gatekeeping is allowed, but I'm going to follow my colleagues' example and stop referring job candidates to Businessolver to avoid embarrassing and frustrating situations like this.
