Pros
Over my past 3 years at Businessolver I have met some of the greatest people, and I'm glad to see that is a recurring trend here. The added work benefits are a plus (though have been put on hold due to COVID) like the free meals and massages. The actual product is ahead of the game and I think very valuable to the industry, it is continually being updated. I additionally have been afforded many opportunities to experience numerous roles in the organization and get a lot of fantastic experience that others my age don't usually get.
Cons
Though this is beginning to be spread over the course of the year, the workload during enrollment period from October to January is actually quite unbelievable - every year preparations are made to help manage the influx of work and every year the company is still overrun. I guess that comes with growth, but it's something to keep in mind. I wouldn't shy away from that work, as that is where the promising employees really stand out to management. I have been with the company for 3 years now and have received one (1) raise due to an internship, I am told I am at the max pay for collegiate's but I think tenure and experience should be factored into that pay cap. Yearly raises as well as pay adjustments due to role changes are a normal expectation in an organization in my opinion - something to consider if you are planning on joining the collegiate program. This is not to say I am unhappy with my pay, just that I had certain expectations for my time and energy committed. The PDP programs offers little except for a setback for those employees with experience who have already done their time on the phones and are looking for a pathway to a career based around their education.
