Pros
You can accelerate your career and technology knowledge faster than 95% of companies out there. The company works with the newest technologies things FAANG companies use. You take full responsibility of your work, and you have access to everything, you could take the entire thing down. Depending on your personality, this could be a good or bad thing. You have the ability and control, to influence the company by suggesting things. You get a couple of days to work from home a month.
Cons
The turnover for all jobs not just software are super high, I was part of 5 new software employees only one stayed. I don't recommend this job to engaged/married people, the risk/reward is just too high to risk if you already have a job. They lied to me about the responsibility of what I will work on when I get the job during the interview, and the tasks they gave me once I started working. The CEO is very unprofessional, makes dirty inapprioate jokes in front of employees, something that will make you feel uncomfortable. You will also see this in the interview, somehow he's unable to change or see his terrible personality that he reflects on the company. For your job you will have to interact with him daily so you can't escape him. Due to the culture the CEO has allowed to happen, I don't recommend any women to work here, it's not an environment you will feel comfortable in. The company has a bad reputation on the market, enough that the CEO has asked employees to write good reviews to fake the ratings on this website. You can see that in the rise of reviews in august - decemember.
Pros
As CEO, I’m grateful every day for the passion and creativity of our team. BusinessChat is still small, which means every person has an outsized impact. We’re tackling meaningful challenges, learning fast, and building a culture where ideas and ownership matter. There’s a real sense of camaraderie and a shared mission that makes the journey worthwhile. We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to becoming better every day. If you’re excited by the idea of helping shape a company from the ground up, and you thrive in environments that reward initiative, I encourage you to join us on this journey.
Cons
We run lean, and that sometimes means people feel stretched. Our systems and processes are still maturing, and not everything is smooth yet. I take full responsibility for that — as a young company, we are still learning and iterating.
